Digi-Cast is providing facial scanning service, using a handy 3D scanner.
The scanned head can be used for modeling reference increasing your production quality.
SCANNING PROCESS
First the subject is scanned using a handy 3D scanner. The captured data are point clouds with black and white texture information.
Scanning Process 1
Then the several point clouds are merged and the texture combined to output
one single file per subject.
The point cloud is optimized for a higher quality render.
Scanning Process 2
The point cloud is converted to a mesh with a texture directly usable in your
3D software.
